Parkway 4k

Parkway4K is a new site featuring high-resolution 4K videos and time lapse from areas along and near the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We are a father-and-son team based out of the mountains of Asheville, NC.

Robert Mitchell lives in Mars Hill, NC and has been a landscape photographer for 35 years. He is the creator of the “Serenics Photographs” collection of landscape images, taken in and around western North Carolina.

Robert recently became one of the first FAA certified UAS airman in the U.S., and is also the proprietor of Hummingbird Aerial Imaging. He and his wife Carla own Art Accents Frame Shop and Art Gallery in downtown Weaverville, NC.

Jordan Mitchell lives in Asheville, NC. A software developer by day, he curates several web sites in the WNCOutdoors.info network including HikeWNC and WNCWaterfalls. He enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and daughter when it’s time to get away from the computer.

Robert and Jordan decided to take their passion for photography a step further and created Parkway4K to showcase some of the best scenery the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina have to offer. We hope you enjoy!
